Although the work of many people was researched to create this book, I want to acknowledge and thank a number of people who were of particular help to me in assembling this information. Dave Boehnlein of Terra Phoenix Design did a great podcast interview with me about his climate analogue work that can be found on www.earthrepairradio.com. Linnia Hawkins of the Oregon Climate Change Research Institute also conducted an interview on my podcast that set me in the right direction around climate change projections. Design for wildfire was informed by my podcast interview with Tom Ward aka Hazel of Siskiyou Permaculture in Southern Oregon. Wildfire and tropical cyclone effects were greatly informed by my podcast interview with Erle Rahaman-Noronha of Wa Samaki Ecosystems in Trinidad. The section on sea level rise was greatly informed by my podcast interview with Mark Lakeman of the Planet Repair Institute in Portland, Oregon. I want to offer my deepest gratitude to those people who took the time out to share their knowledge with me on Earth Repair Radio.

I would like to thank Ardhendusekhar Chatterjee of the Development and Research Communication Centre (DRCSC) in West Bengal, India, for sharing his inspiring work on climate resilience strategies that I included in the section on drought, heat, and erratic rainfall. I’d also like to thank Prakash Tyagi and Rajendra Kumar of Gramin Vikas Vigyan Samiti (GRAVIS) of Jodhpur, India for taking me out to see their amazing resilience work in rural Rajasthan that helped also to inform the chapter on drought, heat, and erratic rainfall.

Additionally, I’d like to thank Neal Spackman of the Al Baydha Project in Saudi Arabia for making his climate analogue research available to me. I’d like to offer very special thanks to Neil Bertrando of Permaculture Design International for proofreading this book and offering a lot of very helpful suggestions.

Last but not least, I’d like to thank Dianna Fisher and the team of people at Open Oregon State for assisting with creating images, editing, and funding this project.
