Publication History

Original Release (first edition) was winter 2016 under a Creative Commons license and under a grant by the Oregon State University Open Textbook Initiative. A second grant was awarded in summer 2018 with a preliminary release for fall 2018 use for an updated textbook (second edition); this second edition was unofficially re-released for the winter 2018 term with significant modifications. The work remains in-progress.
