Printing and textbook size

Sometimes students will want a print copy of your textbook. This is possible using the university’s Printing and Mailing services. However, it will also depend on the length of your textbook. Students are unlikely to print a textbook that is over 300 pages long so please keep this in mind as you create your textbook or OER.

Pressbooks

For books published through Pressbooks, it is unnecessary to go through the process of embedding the fonts as this is already done for you. The preferred export file is the Print version due to having the blank pages automatically included but the digital PDF is processable with no issues. The recommended settings for text and images should still be followed.
