8 Production process overview

Generally speaking, the production process from signing the MOU to publishing your textbook takes 24-36 months, sometimes longer. The Open Educational Resources Unit (OERU) will support your publication efforts. Please keep in mind that we are a small operation, so the process may be different than what you have experienced working with a publisher in the past. This manual will help you through the process and answer many questions. It is very important that you engage with the unit while creating your OER.
